樹皮の幼獣
木の樹皮から着想を得て作りました。木の樹皮のゴツゴツでありながら流れるような隙間に魅力を感じ、制作物として表現したいと思いました。樹皮を動物的なフォルムに落とし込むことで、表情が生まれ、普段と異なる樹皮の見え方ができるのはないかと考え、作品を制作しました。

I was inspired by tree bark. I was attracted to the rugged yet flowing crevices of tree bark and wanted to express them as a work of art. I thought that by incorporating the bark into an animal-like form, an expression could be created and the bark could be seen in a different way than usual.
