使われなくなった義肢をテーマにしたプロダクトの展示。
（以下紹介文）
義肢や装具が必要になる時は、怪我や病気によって思うように身体が動かせなくなる時。義肢や装具を身につける事で負担を軽減し、動作を行えるようになります。少しずつ動かせる範囲が増える事で、動かせられなかった身体に変化が生まれます。新しい動きに合わせて変化した身体になる事で身体の形が合わなくなります。そして、新しく変化した身体に合わせた新しい義肢や装具が必要となります。色々な経験や変化を持った役目を終えた義肢や装具がそこで生まれます。本展では、役目を終えた義肢装具の新しい可能性の探求を目的に、日常の生活でも使えるプロダクトとしてデザインを行いました。この展示をきっかけに義肢装具の可能性が拡がることを願っております。

使われなくなり、役目を終えた義肢からできた時計。gishi clockは人の身体と共に時を刻んできた義肢から生まれた時計です。時計の針を付け足すことで、形と場所を変えて時を共に刻むことができる時計へと生まれ変わりました。

使われなくなり、役目を終えた義肢からできた筋トレグッズ。gishi muscleは人の身体の動きをサポートしてきた義肢から生まれた筋トレグッズです。これまで身体の筋力を補助していた義肢が、筋力を生み出す筋トレグッズへと生まれ変わりました。

使われなくなり、役目を終えた義肢からできた拡張スピーカー。gishi musicは人の身体と共に生活してきた義肢から生まれた拡張スピーカーです。音楽を鳴らしたスマートフォンを入れることで、柔らかな音が拡がる拡張スピーカーへと生まれ変わりました。

使われなくなり、役目を終えた義肢装具からできた楽器。gishi instrumentは身体を支えてきた義肢装具から生まれた楽器です。ゴム線を通すことで、１人を支えるものからたくさんの人を楽しませる楽器へと生まれ変わりました。

義肢装具を作る際の余剰の材料からできたアクセサリーです。体の一部として身につけることで生活を支える役目を果たすはずだった装具の端材を使い、身に装うことで人の生活を豊かにするアクセサリーをつくりました。義肢装具の関係者様、義肢ユーザーに想いを馳せるきっかけをもたらします。

An exhibition of products based on the theme of disused prosthetic limbs.

Prosthetic limbs and orthotics are needed when an injury or illness prevents the body from moving as much as it should. Wearing a prosthetic limb or orthotic device reduces the burden and enables movement. By gradually increasing the range of movement, the body that was unable to move will change. The new body will no longer conform to the shape of the body as it is changed to fit the new movements. New prosthetic limbs and orthotics are then needed to accommodate the new, altered body. Prosthetic limbs and orthotics are born there after their roles have ended, having undergone various experiences and changes. This exhibition aims to explore the new possibilities of prosthetic limbs and orthotics, which have completed their roles, by designing them as products that can be used in daily life. We hope that this exhibition will expand the possibilities of prosthetic limbs and orthotics.
