NAME GHOST
織ネームは美しい。一本一本の細い糸を緻密に織ることでできる美しい模様のある織物は私たちの何気ない生活を豊かにさせてくれる。しかし美しさの端には織られる前の存在がいる。同じ糸なのに、加工されているのに製品とならずに捨てられるものがある。ものには魂が宿ると言われるように、ものになる前にもその過程にも魂が宿るのではとも考え、それらをゴーストとして捉えた。ネームゴーストは、織ネームの端材をポケットにして、使われなくなったものたちをポケットに入れているゴースト。悲しみながらも誰かに見てもらうことを希望にしながら、ネームゴーストにしか出せない優しさと美しさを発して、今日も生まれ、どこかで歩きどこかに消える。

Woven labels are beautiful. Beautiful patterns are created by meticulously weaving each thin thread into textiles, enriching our everyday lives. However, behind this beauty lies a presence that exists before it is woven. Even though it is the same thread, some are processed and not made into a finished product, but are discarded. Just as it is said that objects have a soul, we believe that a soul resides in the process before they become a product, and we have conceived these as ghosts. Name Ghosts are ghosts that use off-cuts from woven labels as pockets to store things that are no longer used. While sad, they hope that someone will see them, and they exude the kindness and beauty that only name ghosts can produce, and they are born today, walking somewhere, and disappearing somewhere.
